Mutant name | Gα-null mutant (DK22) |
// echo $info[6]; ?>
// echo $info[1]; ?>
// echo $info[2]; ?>
Mutant/Transgenic |
mutant |
Ecotype |
Rice (Oryza sativa) |
Mutagenesis type |
T-DNA |
(Semi-)Dominant/Recessive |
recessive |
Description |
Loss-of-function mutations in the corresponding genes encoding the Gα subunit attenuate growth inhibition and cellular senescence caused by sodium chloride (NaCl). Gα null mutations conferred reduced leaf senescence, chlorophyll degradation, and cytoplasm electrolyte leakage under NaCl stress. |
